Are YOU A Wise Girl?!

If you were a Wise Girl ... what is it you'd like to talk about? What wouldn't you like to talk about?

And--as they say in Louisiana--fer true, ARE you a Wise Girl? What do you think a Wise Girl is? Is it smarts? Or is it smart-aleckyness? Or, maybe it's truly both, eh?

Debbie, Dori, & I, Linda, as the pseudo-original Three Wise Girls would like to interact with others of similar smarts & smart-aleckyness. You may be a brain surgeon . . . or just play one on TV . . . either way, we'd love to hear from you. Tell us your name, what you do for a living, why you embrace your business & your family. Tell us exactly what's important to you as a Wise Girl. And explain how you embrace YOUR Wise Girl-itude.

We're building a list of Wise Girls to join in with us as guests on our Blot Talk Radio show beginning this fall. Tell us about you!

  1. Well said Wise Girl Linda!

I am so here (well that's up for debate, but anyway) and in great company. We want wise girls not afraid of "keeping it real", I mean, tell us what you really think.

Me...don't like people who DM me for the first time in twitter with their ads. I mean...take me out to dinner first, at least! What ever happened to courting? I'm on the fence with health care reform . More offended by everyone who has not even glanced at the 1000-page care package, but seem to know everything about it, and only their opinion is right. I think that Michael Vick should be contained in a kennel..love Diane Sawyer and Lisa Ling, and I don't think watching CSI at night will numb valuable brain cells..so there.

  2. ROFL! While we're @ it ... here's what you get from Moi:

I think the new baby doll that teaches little girls how to nurse is unnecessary. Let 'em grow up in due time, fercryinoutloud!

I believe partisanship is truly taking this country D-O-W-N, folks. We need to find a nice table & all sit across from each other & talk like we have common sense--& concern for our fellow human beans.

Every breathing person on this planet, at their core, just wants to be silly. Silly makes the world go 'round. Doesn't mean you can't be serious, or don't have a brain. Laughing at the most outrageous stuff clears the room of all the guff.

    So . . . there #2.

  3. "She believed she could---so she did!" I think that kind of sums me up :) Also, I love connecting with other women on the move and making a difference. It's not just a saying for Boomer Dva Nation--it's what I REALLY and TRULY believe.

  4. I LOVE your wise girl concept! I think any woman who's reached the age of fifty and beyond is wise. We've had to be! Most of us have handled a slew of problems, juggled schedules and relationships, catered to the needs of family and friends, and are just darned smart at a lot of things. Best of luck with your new blog. It's an idea that's ripe and ready to share!

  5. I'm both...smart and smartalecky. By the way what is Blot Talk Radio? Oops..I guess that's the smartalecky part of me coming out. Hahaha

My belief is that if one is not smart by the time they reach mid-life, there's no hope.

I plan on sharing this blog frequently on my social networking sites. I am currently on vacation, but had to take a peek.

    Great job, ladies.

  6. Eileen, Bev and Pam, thank you so much for your comments and support. I read your blogs and know that we three WGs still have a lot to learn about blogging, (I think we have "life" pretty much covered, lol) so your comments are definitely appreciated!

  7. Ha ha ha ha ha ... I'm laughing so hard right now. Can't stop. Here I was, reading & re-reading, & reading again, Pam's post where she asks, "By the way, what is Blot Talk Radio," & I kept thinking, "Hmmm ... surely Pam knows that it's BLOG Talk Radio & definitely knows what it is."

You dum-dum, Linda!!!! I just read my post yet again. Blot Talk Radio ... guess that's where we give the Rorschach Test to our guests & see what they see--& if we can see the same thing.

Oh Linda, how senile can we get?!
